This study has a number of limitations: 1) a small size of the analysed group and its
limited representativeness; 2) the lack of a control group; 3) the lack of registration of
clinical variables, including those regarding the pharmacological treatment in the observation
period and its relation with the studied cognitive aspects of the illness; 4)
the high ratio of falling out of the respondents from the analysis. The great strength
of the study is, however, the fact of including important variables and their subjection
to the assessment using recognised tools, what in the absence of the research data
on this topic and the still unanswered question: how does the psychoeducation work
and what works in it, is the prerequisite for the continuance of further studies taking
into account the direction proposed in this study
