Dear Khun Anon
We have pleasure in offering you the appointment as Sales Manager of the Holiday Inn Bangkok Silom (“Hotel”). Under the Management Agreement for the Hotel, though employed by SAYA (Thailand) Ltd. (The Employer). The following terms and conditions of your employment and benefits are determined by Holiday Inn (Thailand) Limited “(The Company”) an entity under Intercontinental Hotels Group as agent of the Company.
The employment is subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. Starting Date
Your employment will be effective from July 16, 2013 or earlier.
2. Place of work
Your place of work shall be at 981 Silom Road, Bangkok 10500. At the discretion of management, you may be transferred from the department/outlet to another for the interest of the company.
3. Salary
You will receive a monthly salary of Baht 30,000 - gross (less Thai withholding taxes), taxes to be paid by you .
4. Service Charge
You are entitled to a share of service charge (less Thai withholding taxes) as per Employee Handbook.
5. Annual Bonus & Annual Salary Increment
The annual salary increment as well as the annual bonus are not obligatory as according to the Hotel Employee handbook, but would be based on your year end work performance evaluation result, hotel’s financial performance, and at the discretion of the Directors of the company.
6. Probation
a) Your employment will be subject to a probation period of 120 days from the date of commencement of duty.

b) During the period of probation your employment with the hotel may be terminated by either the company or yourself by giving the other 30 days notice or paying 30 day’s salary in lieu thereof.
7. Confirmation
Upon completion of the probationary period and your provided service during the probationary period proved satisfactory to the company, your employment will be confirmed in writing.
8. Duties & Responsibilities
You shall faithfully and diligently serve the company and carry out the duties and responsibilities of your position and any other duties as assigned by the General Manager and/or any of his duty authorized officers.
9. Benefits
In addition to the workmen’s compensation the hotel (as long as you are in employment with this hotel) will provide you with accident, hospitalization and life insurance (according the hotel policies.)
10. Duty Meals
You will be provided with free meals and soft drink, at a place designated by the hotel Management as per policy.
11. Laundry
You will be provided with free laundry for your professional clothes. 50% discount will be granted to you based on the hotel’s rates for private laundry & dry cleaning facilities if services used.
12. Annual Leave
You will be entitled to eight (8) working days annual leave after completion of twelve (12) months of service with the hotel.
13. Rest & Public Holidays
You will be entitled to one (1) rest day per week and 15 public holidays per year as approved by the Management. For details please see your Employee’s Handbook.
14. Termination
a) Termination of employment after having been confirmed as a permanent staff of this hotel will always be in line with the Labour Law and terms as laid down in the hotel’s Employee Handbook under “terms and conditions of employment”
15. General Conditions.
a) Your employment is conditional upon:
1. You passing the company’s medical examination including chest
x-ray.
2. The company receiving satisfactory references about your and
verification of the information provided by you on our application
form.
3. That you are under no obligation to another employer.

b) You will have to abide by the rules and regulations of the company as described in the Employee Handbook and any amendments made from time to time.
