Fatty acids present in oil were first converted
to fatty acid methyl esters (FAME) before injecting into GC column
to obtain the fatty acid profile. The injector and detector temperatures
were 230 and 240 C, respectively. The column temperature
was 220 C and nitrogen was used as a carrier gas at a flow rate
of 1 ml/min.
