Under the premise of "drama as starting point and completion of all kinds of performing arts" beyond the conventional notion, the School aims at nurturing students as "Creators", future leaders who pioneer Korean and world theatrical art. The curriculum focuses on practical courses and experiments which converge into performance. For undergraduate programs, the first and second years include courses on basic art education, humanities, and an introduction to theatre. The third and fourth years put focus on major courses while education on music, dance, visual and traditional art, and film is encouraged at the same time.
Courses for creation and experiment are at the center of graduate programs, based on which students prepare themselves for becoming "Creators".
