(d) Ensuring design co-operation
The CDM Coordinator is responsible for co-ordinating designer actions to ensure that collectively they meet their CDM obligations. This would obviously be important for a multidisciplinary design team
(e) Provide advice
The CDM Coordinator must be in a position to give advice to:
The client or any contractor as regards the competence of the designers and their ability to allocate adequate resources.
The client as regards the adequacy of the safety plan in respect of commencement of the construction phase.
(f) Ensuring that a health and safety file and plan are delivered to the client
The CDM Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that a health and safety file (HSF) and health and safety plan (HSP) are prepared and delivered to the client.
