In the event of a conflict between the local applicable laws and regulations or any internal
policy, procedures or guideline relating to handling of business relationship with certain
countries, groups, nationalities or individuals and this Guideline, business/support units or
country compliance officers must escalate to Group Compliance for advice and guidance.
The Guideline is developed and maintained by Group Compliance and strictly for UOB
Group’s internal use. Reproduction of this document must be forwarded to Group
Compliance Head for approval.
