Transport is a key source for our
scope 3 emissions. This is why all
of our transport providers are now
covered by applicable environmental
initiatives. This was not the case for
all partners last year so we remedied
it. We followed up to ensure that all
partners live up to our standards
and we reviewed our verification
systems to ensure compliance in the
future. All of our road transport providers
must now be SmartWay partners
(North America) or registered
with WayAhead (Europe and Asia).
Similarly, our sea freight partners
need to register their environmental
performance in the Clean Shipping
Index for evaluation.
