Pay good attention to the materials being used. Depending on your type of project, trades people sometimes require an advance to buy materials. This is perfectly normal but make sure you have written down how much money they require and for which materials. When the materials are bought, ask for the invoice. Also ask about the kwality of the materials chosen and why that material was chosen .
