Gone are the days of carrying a folder full of sheets and documents, wasting stacks of paper. Now, it is much easier to store everything electronically.
You can transform your documents into digital form and save trees with Scannable. The app, as the name suggests, works similarly to a scanner.
Scannable is not at all complicated to use. Simply lay your document on a surface which is a different colour to your paper. Then, on automatic mode, just point your camera at the document. Once the app detects the rectangular shape of the document, it will be scanned automatically. Quick and simple.
Scannable also adjusts the brightness and contrast of the scanned document automatically. This ensures that text stands out and is easy to read.
On automatic mode, the focus is sharp and quick, and offers a clear resolution of the document. However, it doesn’t really work with anything outside of a rectangular shape. Should that become a problem, simply switch from automatic mode to manual — a process in which you pretty much just take a photo of your document and have its colour auto-correct by the app.
