MATERIALS AND METHODS
Yeast and yeast-like strains
One hundred and ninety-six strains of ascomycetes (representative
of 23 species of eight genera) (Table 1), 155 of
basidiomycetes (representative of 10 species of three genera)
(Table 2) and 46 of yeast-like organisms (Aureobasidium
pullulans) (Table 1) were used in this study.
