Next week is fundraising week! Each class will be making something to sell to the parents. Year 1 are going to be making their own class calendar! They will design the pictures for each month, and mark the important dates on the calendar throughout the year. You can then keep this at home and the children can refer to this to check what important dates are coming up! We decided to make calendars as it is part of the children's maths curriculum to learn the vocabulary of time, dates, weeks, months and years.
