Let’s consider difficulty for a mom

Let’s consider difficulty for a moment more. No one likes difficulty; but it’s essential that we meet it every day. If our lessons weren’t difficult, on one would be learning anything. We expect to be challenging our pupils at all levels. So reflecting on our attitude to difficulty is an important part of our planning. We want our pupils to face difficulty with confidence. We might say that we want them to find difficult things easy. What are we actually saying to them about this?
