The Change in Employer Practices Survey was funded by the Economic and Social
Research Council (ESRC) under its Future of Work Research Programme and was
carried out by IFF Research Ltd, under the direction of Mark Winterbotham. Some
of the findings were presented by the author at seminars at the Department of Trade
