As hard as it is for me as a big fan of Ro:Ostfront and its mod i have to admit to myself (and it really hurt) that I just can´t recommend Ro2 any longer, I shouldn´t had recommend it at all...
The release of the game was like an early access game, twi did its best to fix up those gamebreaking bugs and they mainly did but some really annoying bugs are still in there (just browse through a few of my Ro2 screenshots and you know what I mean) many things they actually promised still not got implented till today, more vehicles for example. The reason for this may have been the release of Rising Storm (what first was planned as free mod and became somekind of a full priced standalone expansion, funny is on my boxed retail copy of RO2 it was promised as free upcoming content) that seemed to have priority over the main game and slowed down it´s progress for sure...
What actually woke me up was this post (and some of the following) by TWI President John Gibson

After reading all that I just couldn´t go on with supporting the game, i really thought Twi has learned their lesson but Mr Gibsons posts don´t sound like that.
Long story short, it´s a good First-Person-Shooter but it doesn´t stand out from all the other shooters like RO:Ostfront did...
