This section includes a discussion of the methods surrounding the
collection and analysis of survey data. It begins with a discussion of the ENGR
106 and CHE 205 students who completed the efficacy belief survey. The
survey instrument is then described, including how it was administered and why
it is considered to be a valid and reliable instrument. Finally, the statistical tests
used to study survey data are described.
