III. EVALUATION OF THE RESULTS
It is taken into consideration three case studies: case one is
the today’s grid with a small number of installed DG and
without the VPP, second is the case with more plants installed
and the VPP coordination and the third case is the
implementation of the VPP with reactive power control. As
known the small DGU’s have as generator the asynchronous
machine. Due to these generators the reactive power is
consumed from the distribution network creating an increase of
the loading. This phenomenon is not wanted in the distribution
system. To avoid this increase, it is installed a reactive power
compensator at each generator.
