Green Environment
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (2552) has set a green environmental policy as follows:
1. The culture of preserving the environment for sustainability and concrete effectiveness should be created
using the three R’s concept - reduce, reuse and recycle.
2. In terms of water preservation, water use in both community and business contexts should be managed and
reduced. An efficient wastewater system should be established which should have no negative effect on the
environment.
3. A green society should be established through the use of campaigns and social projects, such as “Forest
Volunteer Project” and “Garbage Collection Campaign”.
