and total dissolved inorganic nitrogen (TDIN) flux (mean of
69.0 g m−2 d−1; CV of 95.5%) rose with water turnover rate (T). In
fact, since stocking density was raised together with turnover rate,
they both correlated with the nitrogen fluxes (Table 4) and therefore
the effects could not be differentiated
