Mangalyaan has been named among the best inventions of 2014 by Time magazine. They describe it as a technological achievement of India in exploring the space science. India is the first Asian country to reach the Martian orbit in first attempt.
The Time Magazine called Mangalyaan “The Supersmart Spacecraft.”
Before India, space agencies of the countries like USA, Russia and Europe have attempted to reach to the planet Mars but, nobody gets succeeded in their first try.
Mangalyaan is among the 25 ‘Best Inventions of 2014′ listed by Time magazine.
The Mangalyaan is equipped with just five onboard instruments that allow it to do simple tasks like measure Martian methane and surface composition and its cost efficiency makes it one of the best inventions of 2014.
