The purpose of this experiment was to determine if colored versus black and white printed words affects human memory. I became interested in this idea when I was watching an advertisement on television and wondered if they used bright colors for a certain reason (since most commercials are in color instead of black and white). The information collected from this experiment can be used to help salespeople know if they should use different colors versus black and white. Also the information I gain can help teachers, scientists, or anybody who is trying to teach or learn something.
