In order to address the research questions I used a qualitative approach in data gathering.
This method was chosen because the study conducted was exploratory in nature. An open-ended
approach to data gathering was essential in finding a descriptive interpretation of the phenomena.
Open-ended questions were used to gain insight into PBL facilitator preparation. Individuals
interviewed clearly translated their issues to provide a coherent understanding of what they felt was
needed for such a transformation.
