means and to persuade the public of their principles, or to launch an attack on their opponents, who are known today as the left party.
So rather than liberating her in the second half of the twentieth century, so that she can be close to women of developed countries, the Muslim woman found herself subjected to the inherited culture of ancient traditions. On the pretext of preservation of religion and morals, she was deprived of the rights granted to her by religion and dictated by morals, since no religious supports ignorance and no morals can survive without science.
However, these parties known as ‘the right’ were able to impose their opinions and culture. They employed religion as a weapon to attack their opponents and to support their followers' performances. They also utilized religion to tickle the feelings of the Islamic public, mainly the peasants and workers who did not obtain more than a little portion of education and culture. This category of people was affected by the ideas of the religious parties mainly in terms of the woman's role, her protection, her wearing the veil and the gown. These parties have employed certain Quranic texts and selected prophetic traditions to persuade this category of people even to prohibit the hearing of the woman's voice, her sitting with men, and allowing here to leave her house to go to public markets. These beliefs turned the Islamic people to the first square and put the Islamic woman in front of a new reality that we should struggle to overcome.
All throughout the pre-Islamic period, the Islamic period itself and up to now, the Arab Muslim woman used to graze the sheep and work in the field along with men. She also used to carry water and firewood over her shoulders or over her head for long distances that may amount to several kilometers on foot. She usually appeared barefoot, with uncovered head, arms and legs, she also used to mill grain, using millstones, and to bake bread in locally made ovens. She practiced the job of milking the cows and sheep, making dairy products, and preparing food for the family members. Moreover, she used to work in the fields and on farms for a daily wage, so as to help her husband or to support herself and her children, if their father had died or left them under her custody. All these actions forced women to mix with men in the fields, the roads and on mountains without reservation or embarrassment. Even those right propagandists who oppose the liberation of woman, see women and work together with them and with other men during the gathering of harvest and when they carry it home, or when they pick olives, collect fruit and vegetables or even when they carry the stones and clay to build popular residences.
As mentioned above, these women had their heads, arms and legs uncovered as a necessity required by the nature of the work, including walking in the mud, climbing ladders and trees among other jobs that require the participation of women side by side with men. All this takes place in front of these legists and extremists who hear the women sing enthusiastic songs that encourage men to work hard to finish the harvest and none of them can object or say that is prohibited because he will be encountered with refusal, contempt, and their opinion will be stultified simply because these jobs and
