The average daily intake was greater at 25°C
[42 L/d (2.7 L/d), increasing from 25 L on d 8 to 58 L on
d 20] than at 20°C [P = 0.002; 23 L/d (4.1 L/d)] and at
15°C [P < 0.001; 23 L/d (2.7 L/d)], with no difference in
sows kept at 15°C and 20°C (P = 0.97) and no effect of
fl oor heating duration (F1,24 = 0.0, P = 0.96).
