This mountain, also called Dewa Fuj

This mountain, also called Dewa Fuji, or Mt. Fuji of Dewa, is the second highest in the Tohoku Region, measuring 2,236 meters at its peak. Mt. Chokai as well as the many scenic spots and tourist sites in the outskirts is designated as a Quasi-National Park, and visitors find here a treasure trove of alpine plants.
