1. Opening of the meeting and roll call of delegates
The Convenor welcomed the delegates and opened the meeting. The
attendance list is attached.
2. Adoption of the agenda
The Convenor asked to deleted the second issue on the draft
agenda; i.e., Appointment of editing committee, and re-numbered the
issue of the draft agenda. Then the draft agenda was approved.
3. WG 1 last meeting was held in 2006
The previous meeting was held in 2006 to revise ISO 2321. Since the
publication of ISO 2321:2006, there is no meeting of WG1.
4. Matters arising from the 2013 meeting in Bali, Indonesia
During 2013 ISO/TC45/SC4 plenary, Thailand informed to propose a
new work item proposal ‘Rubber thread specification’. And NWIP was
circulated on 15 Apr 2014 and ended on 17 Sep 2014. The criteria
have been met for the standards registration. Then
ISO/TC45/SC4/WG1 was conducted together with 2014 ISO/TC45
plenary.
5. Comments on ISO/DIS, CD, WD and NP
5.1 ISO/NP 20058 Rubber threads
Dr.Punya (TH), as the project leader, clarified on the members’
comments on the NWIP. The meeting agreed that the project leader
would correct the draft and submit to SC4 Secretariat for circulation
as CD.6. Suggestion for new work
There is no new work proposed in the meeting.
7. Review of standards in 2014
7.1 ISO 2321:2006, Rubber threads – Methods of test
There is 1 standard; i.e., ISO 2321:2006, for 2014 Systematic review.
The result shows the confirmation from 12 P-members and 1
proposal to revise the standard from Thailand. The meeting
considered the necessity for the revision. Thailand was asked to be a
project leader. The revised standard according to the SR comments
will be prepared and sent to SC4 Secretariat for the comments
8. Any other business
There is no other business.
9. Subsequent meetings
The Convenor informed that the next meeting will be arranged in the
morning session on Tuesday instead of the current meeting time.
10. Approval of draft resolutions for SC 4
RESOLUTION 1/2014 (WG 1)
ISO/NP 20058, Rubber thread - Specification
ISOTC45SC4/WG1 recommends that ISO/NP 20058, Rubber thread
- Specification to progress to the CD stage. The revised draft
incorporating comments at the meeting is to be submitted to SC4
Secretary for CD enquiry by 2015-03-30. PL is Dr Panya Sunintaboon
from Thailand.
RESOLUTION 2/2014 (WG 1)
ISO 2321:2006, Rubber threads – Methods of test
ISOTC45SC4/WG1 recommends that ISO 2321:2006, Rubber
threads – Methods of test be registered in the work programme
following result of systematic review 2014. The revised draft for CD enquiry is to be submitted to SC4 Secretary by 2015-03-30. PL is Dr
Panya Sunintaboon from Thailand.
