The descriptive statistics on continuous variables presented in Table II (panel A) show that the mean scores of judgments on the three scenarios are close to 5 (4.87, 4.81 and 4.95), which imply that on average the unethical scenarios were not acceptable to the respondents. The mean for corporate ethics scale of 3.36 suggests that on average respondents felt their organizations were somewhat ethical (in between neutral and agree). The skewness for all eight variables are between 21.96 and þ1.96 and the kurtosis are between 23 and þ3 which mean that the scores are normally distributed (Gujarati, 2003, p. 147) hence parametric techniques will be appropriate for analysis.
