As an authentic sample for analysis, (+)-sesamin (purity ≥ 95%) was purchased from Cayman Chemical (Ann Arbor, MI, USA). Ethanol and methanol at HPLC grade were purchased from Kishida Chemical (Osaka, Japan). Milli-Q water was prepared using the Milli-Q Gradient A10 system (Millipore, Billerica, MA, USA).
