I like music for the way it makes me feel (happy when I want to be, or sad when I just feel like wallowing), but there's more to it than that. I tend to over think everything, but when I listen to or make music, I can shut my mind off. I don't have to think, I just get to feel, and it's amazing. I can be in the middle of the busiest street on earth, but when I pop my headphones on and find a good tune, I'm in my own little world (complete with a soundtrack).
