Why wouldn’t they believe me? I was home by ten, asleep by eleven thirty. Why wouldn’t I sleep early when I had work in the morning? My coworkers and boss know how much of a good worker I am. They even know that I placed my job on top of everything else. My twin brother was out all night, partying like he always does. His friends even claim that he was with them all night!
The police never thought of questioning him, claiming that the witnesses all saw it was me because the person looked like me.Bunch of idiots. Of course my twin would look like me! Why won’t they believe that it was my twin brother who loved sticking that blue ice pick into that brunette girl from the bar at three in the morning? Now, I’m stuck here in this cell for a crime I didn’t even do. When I see my brother next time, I’ll force him to own up. I’ll need to call him to meet me. Since the guards won’t let me call him, I guess I’ll have to call him myself. It seems that these days, the best way to reach him is through a mirror.
