Many studies shown by researchers have concluded that there is a correlation between insomnia and personal stress. According to Lewin(n.d.), it was found that severe insomnia is short-period issue that is normally involved with a nervous life for many days or weeks (p.1). The symptoms of sleep disorders are typical and occur the stress related to job, money, home, and psychological conditions (Australian sleep association , n.d.). Moreover, MHC Counseling Service (2011) reported in the effect of stress on sleep that stress leads to people become irritated during sleep and awakening. The lab found that short sleeping for 4-5 hours affect anatomy and brain.However, stress might be the most frequent cause of short-term insomnia and assume chronic condition, but the professional said that it did not involve with stress of general adaptation syndrome (Roehrs,n.d.,p.63).
