10.2 HSE INSPECTIONS
Work areas, Permit to Work, method statements and JSA shall be inspected by Site HSE Personnel or Site personnel on an informal ongoing basis to establish compliance and to ensure that all workforces understand the precautions necessary to perform the work safely. Any non-compliance shall be rectified immediately. An investigation may be instituted, depending on the nature and/or frequency of occurrence of the non-compliance.
In addition, HSE Personnel shall conduct daily walk about inspections, any concern identified shall be immediately brought to the attention of the relevant discipline supervisors for appropriate action. In the final resort, discipline supervisors, Site HSE Personnel and CLIENT Representatives have authority to suspend operations in case of inadequate action have been taken.
Checklists shall support inspection and inspection report form. On a weekly basis, the inspection reports shall be reviewed by the Safety officer or SUBCONTRACTORS and CLIENT.
11.0 SMOKING, FIGHTING AND GAMBLING
11.1 SMOKING
No smoking rules shall apply on NO SMOKING POLICY, a personnel shall be formally advised by Site HSE Personnel of this instruction which shall include banning smoking materials, cigarettes, lighter or matches in the high risk of fire areas. The smoking areas are to be away from locations where flammable materials, gases and fuel are stored.
All sites will be post non smoking sign at the front of site.
11.2 FIGHTING AND GAMBLING
Any dispute or disagreement among site personnel including workers leading to harassment or fighting shall be strictly prohibited. Employees/workers found fighting within the Project Site shall be removed from site and refused future entry.
Gambling of any form is strictly prohibited on the Project Site Violators shall be subjected to immediate removal from the Project Site and refused future entry.
