— Authorities say a multi-vehicle accident on the Tappan Zee Bridge that killed one person and injured four others may have been caused by a wrong-way driver.
New York officials say a woman driver was pronounced dead at the scene following the accident Tuesday night on the northbound side of the span.
The lanes were reopened early this morning.
State police are investigating whether the accident may have been caused by a wrong-way driver.
The four injured were taken to area hospitals in serious and critical conditions.
