300 g of the control diet (used as a
reference diet) was extracted and completely ground. To conduct the evaluation, 30 %
(90 g) of this in weight was replaced by equal amounts of green and brown seaweed meal.
The determination of the coefficients of apparent digestibility of dry matter (% ADMD)
and the apparent digestibility of protein (% APD) was calculated as described by Guillaume
and Choubert (2004).
