The cardholder made a transaction for hotel reservation during May 26-29, 2013 with the merchant in the amount of THB101,173.71 and received the booking reference number “AP116159”.
Later, the cardholder was informed by the merchant on July 25, 2013 that “Atoll Paradise” was force to suspend all business operations and merchant advised the cardholder contact the credit card issuer for claiming the refund. (Document 1).
The cardholder, then, contacted our center for disputing both transactions. Since the merchant is unable to provide their services on the expected date of May 26-29, 2013. Therefore, the merchant must credit the cardholder for the charges that they are not able to provide their services to the cardholder.
