Table 2 presents the final agreed list of prioritised KPIs for nursing and midwifery. It is interesting to note that seven of
the eight priortised KPIs were highly ranked (i.e. in the top 10) across both rounds. ‘Support of patient to care for
themselves, where appropriate’ was the KPI that was less consistent over the rounds, moving from ranked position
19th in round (1) to ranked position 7th in round (2). This trend indicates a high level of consensus at the outset and
provides a strong indication of the KPIs considered importantfor nursing and midwifery.
