Rolls-Royce today opened a new Rolls-Royce Regional Customer Training Center (RCTC) in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, the second customer training facility it has opened in the last twelve months. Providing services to civil and defense aerospace, energy and marine customers from all over the world, the new facility is part of the Group’s global strategy to provide world-class customer training.
In a ceremony held to officially open the new Indianapolis facility, Axel Arendt, Rolls-Royce President of the Defence Aerospace business, commented: “The Rolls-Royce RCTC we are opening today has been purpose-built, more than doubling the region’s training capacity in response to a range of current and future customer requirements.
“Indianapolis is an ideal location for this RCTC, easily accessible by many of our key customers and close to both the airport and downtown area. It is the fifth Rolls-Royce facility to open in Indianapolis, where more than 4000 employees live and work. The decision to locate this facility in Indianapolis underscores the Group’s commitment to expanding its global footprint while actively supporting the communities where it already has a presence.”
