As the main goal of the current study was to compare combinatory effects in color modification as opposed to either complex number combinations or number quantification,we conducted a main analysis in the areas of the LATL (BAs 38, 20 and 21) that have previously been implicated in conceptual combination (Bemis and Pylkkänen, 2011; Pylkkänen et al., 2014; Westerlund and Pylkkänen, 2014).
