In the afternoon the voyage was continued and that night was spent in the boat, off Kaw Boi Yai. The next morning, March 2nd, the boat sailed over to Kaw Yao Noi, where the shore was found to be edged by wide mud flats, over which it would have taken some hours to carry the kit. It was decided, therefore, to go on to the adjacent island, Kaw Yao Yai, which was reached about mid-day. Camp was pitched by a sandy beach on the eastern side of the island, near the village of Klawng Ilia, and was kept there till March 6th.
