The network control algorithm of the congestion length for a twoway
urban road network is simulated at twelve signalized
intersections during morning and evening rush hours in Fukuyama
city, Japan. The Phases, the parameters and the incoming volumes
are arranged for the simulation at twelve signalized intersections
based on measurement data. Serious oversahmted signalized
intersections are four signalized intersections along the Route 2 fiom
the viewpoint of the congestion length control in the urban road
network
