My impression in Krabi,Thailand was so positive,It was the end of November when I landed to Isafjordur, on the North Western fjords of Iceland. Useless to say it was cold, very cold.
In Reykjavik my flight had been cancelled for two days in a row, due to the stormy weather conditions in he North. I had almost lost my hopes to reach this hidden corner of the world, promising myself to try once more before abandoning the idea. It was already the second time I was trying to reach it, in winter. The first time, one year earlier, I tried by bus, but in March the roads were still frozen and no bus was getting there until May.
The second time I got stubborn and decided t try by plane.
