Dimensional Tolerances
A. The tolerances in this paragraph apply to piping in-line items, branch connections and continuation of lines to other drawings.
B. These tolerances may be exceeded to a maximum of 13mm for vent and drain connection locations, dummy support lengths, temperature and pressure tap locations, providing the deviation does not affect an in-line item.
C. General tolerance dimensions such as face-to-face, face-or end-to-end, face-or end-to-center and center-to-center; ±1/8” for 10” and under and ±3/16” for sizes 12” through 36”. Sizes over 36” are subject to tolerances of ±3/16” plus or minus 1/32” for each 12” diameter over 36” When closer tolerances are required, they shall be noted on the piping isometric.
D. Inclination of flange face from true in any direction: 3/64” per foot.
E. Rotation of flange bolt holes shall not exceed 1/16”.
