You keep calling me handsome. I think you need eye glasses. หน้ายิ้มแป้นพร้อมตายิ้ม But thank you anyway. I hope your migraine gets better. My sister Carole has them all the time. I wish that I could find a cure but there is one thing that you might do. If there is a pharmacy that carries some western products, look and see if there is something called Vicks Vaporub. Rubbing that on your forehead, around your temples and behind your ears somehow makes the headache go away. Inhaling the stuff helps to clear your sinus passages too.
Winter here starts officially on December 21st I think but it is already getting cold. We have a holiday that we celebrate each October 31st called Halloween. It is supposed to be a day to honor dead family members but got perverted somehow and now it is a time for kids to dress up in scary costumes and go from door to door begging for candy. They yell "Trick or Treat" meaning that if they don't receive a treat, then they will perform some harmless trick like marking the windows with a bar of soap. That was the way they did it in the past. Now they probably mean that they will burn your house down. Americans have a fascination with horror. Vampires, werewolves, witches and zombies fill the cinematic screen, over and over. Supernatural stories abound in our culture. We try very hard to scare the crap out of each other. I used to love horror movies but they just aren't very good any more. With a couple of notable exceptions: "The Woman in Black" and "The Conjuring" were both very good. I wish that I could find a link to show them to you. We used to go to outdoor drive in cinemas when I was a kid. You parked your car in a row with a post next to it that had a small speaker that you could hang on your car window. There would be a projection building with a concession stand where we would buy popcorn and other goodies. Most drive ins had a playground for the kids so people went early to get a good parking space and let the kids run wild. My parents liked to barbecue so we would take a lot of ribs and side dishes with us. My sister and I would always fall asleep on the back seat. These drive ins were popular with teenagers. They could have some explicit fun while seeing a little of the movie. As an adult I would go with friends in several cars and we would bring pizza and chicken wings and either beer or wine, which were not supposed to be allowed. Once a theater announced that they would show scary movies all night long and give away free donuts and coffee. I tried hard to stay up but fell asleep. They were some of the worst movies I ever saw which added to the fun. Do you have such places in Thailand? Most drive ins are long gone but a few still survive. Here is a picture of a typical theater. Do you ever see any American films? Do you like any of them? I am waiting for the new Star Wars film coming out soon. I stood in line all day to see the first one back in the 70's. Have a great day and I'll talk with you soon.
