The concept of “one-stop security” is about screening passengers once, when they set out for
their journey – and then no longer screening them at airports where they have a connection.
This means removing security controls in transfer, but also making sure that the first and only
security controls (at the airport of origin) have been done properly, usually at “equivalent”
levels to the country of connection.
