The Recreation Building originally

The Recreation Building originally opened in 1969. This facility houses a 200-meter jogging track, weight area, and infield area that can be used for indoor soccer among other activities. There is also a sauna in both the Men's & Women's locker rooms. The Recreation Building is the home of Men's & Women's Track teams.
The Recreation Building is a membership access facility - patrons will be required to have a Recreation Building Membership or pay the daily walk-in fee in order to use the facility. All current Recreational Services Members (including enrolled UI Students) are exempt from needing a Recreation Building Membership, access is included in the Recreational Services Membership.
The Recreation Building is located at 930 Evashevski Drive, just northwest of Kinnick Football Stadium. Metered Parking is available along the south side of the facility. Access to this facility is through the south doors.
