Tebuconazole, procymidone and fosetyl-Al sprays prior to artificial inoculation significantly reduced
leaf spots in garlic caused by Stemphylium vesicarium. Results from field experiments indicated a
good control of Stemphylium leaf spots when tebuconazole or procymidone (alone or alternated with
chlorothalonil) were applied at regular intervals during vegetative growth (total of 4-9 sprays) to
garlic crops. Also, a significant effect on garlic yield was observed in experiments conducted under
