Soil-borne fungal pathogens of soybean Rhizoctonia
solani, Fusarium oxysporum, Sclerotium rolfsii,
Collectotruchum truncatum, Macrophomina phseolina
and Alternaria alternata isolated from this region were
selected for the present investigation. Stock cultures of
each isolate were maintained on potato dextrose agar
(PDA) at 40C. Working cultures were established by
transferring a stock agar plug containing the mycelium
of each isolate onto PDA and incubated at 28 0C ± 20 C
for 7 days
