Accordingly, small library of (4,6-dimethoxy-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)
amino acid ester derivatives 6a–i was prepared by reaction of cyanuric
chloride 1 with α-amino acid esters 5a–i in the presence of Na2CO3 as
a scavenger for the HCl and methanol as a solvent (Scheme 3). The reaction
started by dropwise addition of cyanuric chloride to a solution of
amino acid ester derivatives and Na2CO3in methanol as a solvent at
0 °C, and then followed the same method described above.
