Comprising over 200 objects, this was the first major retrospective of Marc Newson’s work and surveyed the extraordinary range of his career to date, from furniture and interiors, to watches and homewares, from a bicycle to a car and even a private jet. Highlights of the exhibition included the sleek aluminium Lockheed lounge, the neoprene-clad Embryo chair, product design for Alessi, the award-winning MN02 bicycle for Biomega as well as a range of current projects.
