Sometimes, as teachers, your good intentions may not get through, or you may not achieve the tangible results you hoped for. Or sometimes, when your sincere efforts go unrewarded, you might feel as if they weren’t worth the trouble. Yet, in spite of such disappointments and trials, you persevere. You continue to believe in the potential of your students, wholeheartedly chanting for them and doing whatever you can to support them. You do so without expecting anything in return or seeking any praise.
