Chapter 6 Protection of Licensor’s interests
Article 12.
1. The Licensee shall cooperate with the Licensor to ensure the validity of San-X’s rights to use the Characters or grant a license to use the Characters to a third party. If the Licensee has found that a third party is infringing the San-X’s right to use the Characters

or right to grant a license to use the Characters to a third party, the Licensee shall provide written notice to RME immediately after the Licensee discovers such fact. The Licensee shall provide sufficient cooperation and support to the Licensor for negotiating with such third party to cease such infringing action. The Licensor shall protect the Licensee’s right to use the Characters based on this Agreement.
2. The parties shall actively and cooperatively take efficient measures against counterfeits in the Licensed Territory
